[Japan] Must visit Goryokaku Park in Hokkaido during the snow season to enjoy the super spectacular night view of the star-shaped fortress!

Goryokaku Park in Hokkaido, is a round the year holiday destination where you can observe Sakura blossoms in spring and red maple leaves in autumn, and as well as enjoy rare snow scene in winter too!

This snow scene is really special! Along the Goryokaku Castle, there is a huge white star-shaped fortress, it’s beautiful & extremely spectacular!

Every year from December to February, they host a lighting event as well. 2,000 light bulbs light up at the same time, the scenery is even more beautiful!




Whether it’s daytime or nighttime, it definitely stands out distinctly!
If you are on the observation deck, the 360-degree view is even more amazing!
Best visual treat to the sore eyes!

Opening Hours: April 21 to October 20, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm; October 21 to April 20, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (open all year round)
Transportation: Take the Hakodate Bus and get off at “Goryokaku Park Entrance” and walk for about 7 minutes / Take the city bus and get off at “Goryokaku Park Mae” and walk for about 15 minutes
